Our iaro mugs were specifically designed for Specialty Coffee in collaboration with the artist Jutta Becker and have since been handcrafted by her in Karlsruhe.

In addition to the stunning, minimalist appeal of the mugs, the highest possible coffee drinking experience was our top priority during development. The high material thickness of the ceramic in the lower part of the mugs ensures a high heat retention, which is crucial for the perfect cup of coffee. The mugs are slightly thinner at the top edge to provide a pleasant drinking experience. The mugs are hand-painted with a matte color on the outside, finished with a velvety glossy glaze on the inside and fired.

Because the cups are wider than they are tall and have a wide opening at the top, they provide the perfect canvas for practicing latte art.

In our iaro specialty coffee shops, we serve cortado in this size (S - approx. 130ml). The cups are also perfect for serving your favorite filter coffee.
