Since 2022, our coffee roastery in Karlsruhe has stood for modern and sustainable coffee enjoyment. With great passion and plenty of innovation, we have been actively shaping the city's coffee scene ever since, providing new momentum for conscious consumption and the highest quality. What once began as a small coffee shop quickly grew beyond its original concept. Through direct interaction with our guests and the growing coffee community, it soon became clear to us: Karlsruhe deserves more than just good coffee service—it needs a roastery that takes control of the entire process. A modern coffee roastery should combine uncompromising quality with genuine transparency, embody sustainability not as a trend but as an attitude, and be deeply rooted in the region.

Coffee — more than just a wake-up call

For many, the day begins with a cup of coffee — it awakens the senses, provides energy, and often offers a moment of calm as well. Yet coffee is no longer considered just a morning "pick-me-up." Studies show that regular coffee consumption is linked to a multitude of health benefits. Among other things, it can reduce the risk of cardiovascular diseases, protect against certain types of cancer, and even improve mood — positive effects that are primarily attributed to the antioxidants and bioactive compounds it contains.

At the same time, there is growing awareness of where coffee comes from and how it is produced. Topics such as origin, sustainability, and quality are becoming increasingly important.

Our coffee roastery in Karlsruhe

Right after opening our first coffee shop in Karlsruhe, it became clear to us: this city needs more than just good coffee; it needs a roastery that can do more — one that takes responsibility, embodies quality, and reimagines coffee culture. That is how our own coffee roastery was born, with the ambition of processing only the best beans while always acting fairly and sustainably. We work exclusively with 100% Arabica beans, which we source directly from carefully selected plantations — preferably through direct trade. In addition to transparency and fair payment, we also ensure access to exceptionally high-quality raw coffees with a unique character. Our focus is on light roasts that highlight the natural flavor profile of the beans — from fruity and floral to nutty or chocolatey.

Our first signature roast, Muriqui, is a special milestone for us. Its delicate notes of dark chocolate and macadamia nuts make this coffee perfect for dairy or dairy alternatives, and thus, Muriqui quickly became the figurehead of our roastery and our cafés.

Other varieties such as Esanara, Muundo, Pava Caucana, and the Coqueta Decaf followed. Each of these roasts combines its own history, origin, and flavor composition.
